It is a privilege to serve as your incoming President. I want to thank Brian Nulty and the outgoing board for their leadership, and I'm excited to work alongside our new board members as we build on the momentum they've created.
Atlanta RIMS has always been at its best when our members are engaged — sharing ideas, tackling tough risk challenges together, and learning from one another. That's my focus for my term: creating more ways for you to plug in, whether you're a longtime member or new to the profession.
We're fortunate to have a strong lineup of signature events that continue to grow year over year. Our annual EdCo educational conference remains a premier destination for risk management education in the region, and our Golf Tournament continues to be one of the highlights of our calendar — bringing our community together for a great cause and even better company. We're committed to keeping these events the best they can be, and we encourage every member to take full advantage of them.
Beyond our big events, I want to make networking a year-round priority. Risk management is a relationship-driven profession, and some of the best solutions come from conversations with peers who've faced the same challenges. Whether it's at a chapter event, a committee meeting, or an informal coffee chat, I encourage you to reach out, get involved, and connect with fellow members.
