It is with great honor and enthusiasm that I step into the role of President for our great Atlanta RIMS Chapter. As we embark on this journey together, I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to the outgoing board members for their dedication and hard work. Their efforts have paved the way for the successes we enjoy today. I also warmly welcome our incoming board members, whose passion and fresh perspectives will undoubtedly drive our chapter forward.
Founded in 1957, the Atlanta RIMS Chapter has a proud history as a not-for-profit organization dedicated to promoting the profession of Risk Management. Our chapter is composed of local Risk Manager volunteers from various industries and disciplines, all united by a common goal: to promote risk and insurance locally, nationally, and internationally. This legacy of commitment and service is something we will continue to uphold as we move forward.
Our industry is evolving at a rapid pace, and as risk professionals, we must stay ahead of these changes. We can foresee a future where technology, data analytics, and innovative risk management strategies play crucial roles. They emphasize the importance of adaptability and continuous learning, qualities that we, as a chapter, will prioritize.
One of our focuses this year is to grow and provide additional support to our network of Atlanta and Georgia risk managers by expanding our reach, deepening connections within our local community, and enhancing collaboration. We are committed to identifying and nurturing risk leaders, offering more resources, and empowering our members to tackle the unique challenges they face in their roles. Through educational programs, networking events, and collaborative initiatives, we will provide platforms for growth and development, enabling our members to excel in their careers and enhancing our collective knowledge and skills
Together, we will navigate the complexities of our profession, support each other’s growth, and strive for excellence. Remember, the board is here to serve you. Your ideas, feedback, and participation are invaluable as we work towards our shared goals.
Thank you for your trust and support. Here’s to a successful and transformative year ahead.
Warm regards
Brian P. Nulty
